We offer in-person group classes to support your mindfulness meditation practice and deepen your understanding of the breath. Story
Who we are
At breathe, we believe that meditation is for everyone and we specialise in mindfulness meditation. Our objective is to help everyone to shift towards the goods things in life and the things that nurture us on our lifelong journey.

Breathe is a woman led independent company of two. We are committed and passionate about making the world a fairer and kinder place. Jodie has over 10 years experience in the education sector and has a passion for inclusion and social justice.

Jodie has been practicing various forms of meditation practices including mindfulness, yoga, martial arts and Qigong for over 15 years. Jodie is a Level 2 Mindfulness Teacher and has recently completed her Level 3 Mindfulness Insight Training.
What makes Breathe different?
Here at Breathe we offer private online one-to-one sessions which have been designed with a sliding scale pricing structure. There are three different costs aimed at people with different levels of financial resources. In short, people on low-income pay less and financially-resourced people pay more. By paying what you can this allows us to keep this structure in place for those who are struggling financially.
Paying more also allows Jodie to teach mindful sessions for free to those who are in financial distress and unable to meet their basic needs. Through people's generosity, we were able to offer 4 free 1 hour sessions in 2023. So far for 2024, we have been able to offer 9 free 1 hour sessions!
Why does this matter?
We believe our prices are reasonable, but we recognise that this means something different to different people. Jodie has been very fortunate to have had 'reduced rates' and 'gifted sessions' offered in order to continue training in mindfulness meditation and yoga over the years. This would not have been possible without the kindness and generosity of others!

This form of mutual aid has helped to remove some barriers faced by Jodie and has gone a long way to met common needs. By offering our one-to-one service on a sliding scale and free sessions, we are extending mutual aid and people power. In short, this is another way forward to work together for positive change and to spread the benefits of mindfulness meditation.
